Kent is to play host to a mouth-watering mixture of local treats during its annual Broadstairs Food Festival Spring Fair.
Now in its seventh year, this free festival takes place from 4th-6th April and will see guests flock to more than 50 stalls to celebrate Kent’s culinary heritage.
With a whole host of tempting treats and activities to enjoy, it’s clear to see why the organisers expect a huge crowd to descend on the popular seaside destination over the Easter weekend.
What’s On This Year?
What better way to spend the Easter weekend than by sampling a stunning showcase of Kent fayre in delightful surroundings?
This independent community festival will be serving up a whole host of activities for visitors to get their teeth into.
Do your little ones fancy themselves as culinary geniuses? Then why not bring them along to enjoy the free children’s workshops?
They’ll get the chance to perfect their pizza-making skills or even dabble with dough in a bread class.
There’s also an Easter bonnet competition for kids to get their creative juices flowing.
What better way to celebrate Easter than by visiting more than 50 stalls showcasing Kent’s food heritage?
From local cheeses and organic and sourdough breads to a host of hot food stalls, the event is a celebration of all that Kent has to offer food fanatics.
Local Ale House
Visitors will also have the chance to sample a fine selection of beverages, with local ale house Four Candles serving up a mixture of local ales and cider.
Passionate about prosecco? Visitors can enjoy a prosecco and parmigiano tasting evening, gala supper, Screen Bites movie night, meet and eat afternoon gathering and even a sherry master class.
There’ll also be a chance to meet food writer and blogger Rosie Birkett at this year’s jam-packed fair.
